I obtained my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from
the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel;
I graduated with Distinguished Excellence ("Summa Cum Laude"). Then I obtained my M.Sc. in Computer Science from
the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel.
My Thesis deals with distributed systems, titled "Quorum Systems: Domination, Fault-Tolerance,
Balancing".
After my masters I started working in the industry for Indigo Ltd.
(now HP Indigo)
in the image processing team, first as a software-engineer and later as a team-leader.
Then I worked for Valor Computerized Systems.
I started as the algorithms team leader, responsible for the algorithmic aspects of the company's products.
Later I was appointed as project manager of a new assembly engineering product, establishing the
software infrastructure, and building and managing the team.
And last I worked as a product manager, conducting research of potential new
development/acquisition products for the company, and working closely with
customers in the United States.
Right now I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science department at the
University of British Columbia, Canada.
