It's the Feelgood Movie of the Year!

I.  The movie

Today, in an effort to provide you with a look at some of 
the issues that AI researchers have been looking at over
the years as well as relatively current ways of addressing
those issues, we watch a documentary produced by the 
National Science Foundation (the U.S. government agency 
that sponsors non-military scientific research) and the
Association for Computing Machinery.  What we watched is
called "The Thinking Machine", and it's part of a series
called "The Machine that Changed the World".
