I began my master's degree at UBC in the fall of 2001, and finished(!) in the fall of 2003. (See projects for my thesis.)
Since my degree, I worked at Ubisoft Montreal and Xtranormal Technology, working on game physics and character animation.
More recently I started up an independent game studio, Hemisphere Games, and moved to Nelson, BC.
My research interests (still) include:
- Animation physics
- Character motion control
- Deformable modeling
- Game Design
Uri Ascher and Dinesh Pai co-supervised my thesis work.
I was a member of the SCV (Scientific Computation and Visualization),
Imager graphics and
LCI (Lab for Computational Intelligence) labs.
