Time-series definition
A set of data ordered chronologically is known as a time series. In a
time series, a long term rise or fall in the line is called a
trend, while short term, irregular rises are known as
fluctuations. Fluctuations that recur at regular intervals are
called cycles or cyclic fluctuations.
