Termination switches for VID/IO Box

The termination switches on the Vid/IO Box are there to allow the user to switch between high-impedance (off position) and 75 Ohm impedance. A video signal must be terminated once and only once with a 75 Ohm load, generally at its final destination. If the source is feeding more than one destination, i.e. the loop through is being used to pass it to another device, then only one of the devices should present an input impedance of 75 Ohms.
This information was taken from the Vid/IO Box user's manual (C)1989 Truevision Inc.
