What is Virtual Family?

      Virtual Family - or VF for short - was created to interest young people, aged 12-16 years old, in computer programming. The VF software program is one of SWIFT's on-going educational projects.

      Many people have a misconception about what programming is like. They think it's extremely impersonal, and that's it's only for people like Bill Gates. Well, the Virtual Family is out to change all that. They want to show that learning how to program can be personal, fun, and appealing to girls as well as boys. Would you like to meet them?
