One of the two founding Co-op SWIFTers, Tina was a third year Physics major at UBC and was our technical "recycler" and "re-coder", taking our web page from zero to up and running in four months! |
Fall '97 - Spring '98 |
The other founding Co-op SWIFT'ers, Lee,was a fourth year Communications major / Canadian Studies minor student at SFU. Lee was not only the project's writer, survey authority and website content provider, but also the two-time winner of IBM's Achievement Award. |

Jessica was our third co-op student who succeeded Lee in our survey and writing domain. Although Jessica was only in her second year -- majoring in Computer Science at UBC, she was a pro in all the SWIFT activities and a real survivor. She was also a recent winner of IBM's Achievement Award. |

Sonja was our fourth co-op student who was a third year Physics major/Math minor honour student at SFU. She was the dragon in ARC database and suceeded after Tina, our first dragon. |

Rhian has just finished her first co-op work term with SWIFT. Having worked for years as a treeplanter, Rhian is finding her first computer related job a huge change! One thing that remains the same, though, is that the people she works with, like treeplanters, are all fun and interesting! |

Angela was a third year Computing Science student at SFU when she was part of the SWIFT family. During her term with SWIFT she became the public speaking Czarina, and is hearby awarded a medal of valor for teaching Virtual Family to a Kitsilano Secondary Information Technology class. |

A further addition to the SWIFT family, Janet was a first year ARC 2000 student at UBC. She changed roles from chiropractic to computer science. There's nothing like a new challenge!! Congratulations Janet!! |

Shelly is a fourth year Computer Science student at UBC and will graduate in the spring of 2002. She is working with Anne Condon developing the special section of CS100. This special section introduces computers through applications in Biology, Psychology and the Arts. |
