SWIFT Emeritus

Fall '97	One of the two founding Co-op SWIFTers, Tina was a third year Physics major at UBC and was our technical "recycler" and "re-coder", taking our web page from zero to up and running in four months!
Fall '97 - Spring '98	The other founding Co-op SWIFT'ers, Lee,was a fourth year Communications major / Canadian Studies minor student at SFU. Lee was not only the project's writer, survey authority and website content provider, but also the two-time winner of IBM's Achievement Award.
	Jessica was our third co-op student who succeeded Lee in our survey and writing domain. Although Jessica was only in her second year -- majoring in Computer Science at UBC, she was a pro in all the SWIFT activities and a real survivor. She was also a recent winner of IBM's Achievement Award.
	Sonja was our fourth co-op student who was a third year Physics major/Math minor honour student at SFU. She was the dragon in ARC database and suceeded after Tina, our first dragon.
	Vania, was a fourth year Physics and Chemistry student at UBC. She was the Virtual Family "Nanny" and became the "Demo Czarina."
	Katie, AKA the KAT, was a second year UBC computer science co-op student. At SWIFT, she was also referred to as Virtual Family Nanny (Number Two) and Survey Authority.
	Jocelyn was a second year Engineering student at SFU. She was also known as Sze Sze. She was the database guru at SWIFT.
	Co-ordinator for Supporting Women in Information Technology, St.Grace, aka Superwoman, was our Webmaster and was responsible for SWIFT, ARC and E-GEMS administration and organization as well as graphics design.
	After spending time with SWIFT's sister project, EGEMS, Kathy can't believe she's here! She's Virtual Family Nanny #3 and the resident slapstick techie!
	Rhian has just finished her first co-op work term with SWIFT. Having worked for years as a treeplanter, Rhian is finding her first computer related job a huge change! One thing that remains the same, though, is that the people she works with, like treeplanters, are all fun and interesting!
	Working with the SWIFT team for two weeks (from June 19, 2000 to June 30, 2000), Maggie Ying, a Windermere Secondary School student in the Career Preparation Program, enjoyed working on the Calendar for SWIFT and E-GEMS. Thanks for everyone's help, especially help from Ms. Sullivan, Shona, and Crystal!! ^-^
	Crystal was a second year Computer Science student at UBC. She still comes around every so often to help us with workshops and other events.
	Shona was a first year Engineering Science student at SFU. She did a great job working on the Virtual Family tutorials.
	Angela was a third year Computing Science student at SFU when she was part of the SWIFT family. During her term with SWIFT she became the public speaking Czarina, and is hearby awarded a medal of valor for teaching Virtual Family to a Kitsilano Secondary Information Technology class.
	A further addition to the SWIFT family, Janet was a first year ARC 2000 student at UBC. She changed roles from chiropractic to computer science. There's nothing like a new challenge!! Congratulations Janet!!
	Shelly is a fourth year Computer Science student at UBC and will graduate in the spring of 2002. She is working with Anne Condon developing the special section of CS100. This special section introduces computers through applications in Biology, Psychology and the Arts.
	Willa was a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student at UBC. She spent most of her time on Virtual Family.
	Eve was a third year Computer Engineering student at UBC. Here with SWIFT, she was on her first coop work term.
	Regan is currently in her second year planning to major in Computer Science at UBC. She will graduate in 2005 and SWIFT is her first Co-op workterm =D
	Rainbow is a second year Computer Science student at UBC. She will graduate in the spring of 2005. She is now excitingly on her first co-op work term.
	Wesley and Daniel are grade 11 students at Killarney Secondary. They are spending part of their summer with SWIFT working on a "College Edition" of Virtual Family
	From June 17th, 2002 to June 28th, 2002, Winnie Ho has been working with SWIFT as part of her Career Preparation Program. When at SWIFT, she was a grade 11 student from Windermere Secondary School. Thanks everyone for showing me around! ^_~ <---- (I drew that picture, even though it's not a picture of me)
