RNA macromolecules play fundamental roles in many biological processes and their structure is essential for functions like regulating translation and replication, RNA splicing, etc. The RNA secondary structure design problem consists in finding a sequence for a given secondary structure. Today I will focus on the applications of this problem and on some extensions of the RNA Designer to build better structures that can be use in practice.

This is part of my research that is in progress and I will appreciate any comments and suggestions.
