All talks are free of charge and open to any member of the university community or general public.

The UBC Department of Computer Science and ICICS Lecture Series each bring leading researchers, from a variety of research areas, to UBC enabling an exchange of ideas between the speakers, students, faculty and the public on the latest advances in those areas. The seminars are hosted by the Department of Computer Science and the Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems (ICICS) here at the Point Grey campus of the University of British Columbia. Each speaker is invited and funded by the research group in the corresponding area, ensuring that the individual is well known by their peers and that their work is representative of the forefront of their field.

To be included on a mailing list and notified of all seminars and talks related to Computer Science please send e-mail to seminars-request@cs.ubc.ca and in the body of your message type: subscribe
