Venue Information
The conference will take place on the beautiful UBC campus. The first location you need to go is the Reboot Lounge at the ICICS/CS Building.
The locations for each event are as follows:
- Registration, Breakfast, Afternoon Break and Career Booths will take place at the Reboot Lounge beside the Reboot Cafe at the ICICS/CS Building
- All Keynote Speaker presentations, Passion and Purpose Panel, Undergraduate Student Career Mentoring Panel, and Academic/industry partnerships in K-12 outreach Panel will take place at DMP 110 in the Hugh Dempster Pavillion which is across from the Reboot Cafe and Lounge
- The Graduate Student Panel and the Research Poster Competition will take place at the Demco Learning Centre in the ICICS/CS Building
- The Find Your Spark Workshop will take place in the X836 room on the 8th floor of the ICICS/CS Building
- Lunch each day will take place in the X860 and X836 rooms on the 8th floor of the ICICS/CS Building
- The Speed Mentoring Event will take place at St. John's College

- Students staying overnight St. Andrew's Hall can park at the North Parkade
- Attendees who are coming to the conference just for the day can park at the Thunderbird Parkade, Health Sciences Parkade or the parking lot at the SW corner of Agronomy Road and Main Mall
Accommodation
Accommodation on campus is available for student participants. The conference will provide one night of free accommodation (the night of May 9) on campus, at St. Andrew's Hall. Students will be sharing a dormitory style room with up to four other conference participants. You can indicate whether you would like to reserve a room through the online registration form. Please note: Students are to bring their luggage to the conference location where it will be stored. A staff member will provide students staying at St. Andrew's with their room key at the conference.
Accommodations will also be provided to out-of-town speakers and to a limited number of out-of-town people from each sponsoring company at St. John's College. Guests can check in as early as 9 am on May 9. You are also able store your luggage at the front office any time between 9 am and 4 pm.
