In 2017, I completed my PhD at the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, working in the Networks, Systems and Security Lab under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Warfield.

Projects

• Tralfamadore. A unique approach to debugging and binary analysis: the entire execution history of the target application is recorded, letting analysis run directly on the log instead of being tethered to the control flow of an application as it runs.
• Remus. Virtualization-based invisible, comprehensive disaster protection for commodity operating systems and applications.
• Parallax. Virtual block storage designed for virtual machines. Provides fine-grained copy-on-write storage and unlimited, very lightweight snapshotting.
• Mutt. A fast, powerful and insanely configurable console-based email client.
• Mercurial. A powerful, compact and very fast distributed version control system with an intuitive user interface.
